A Creative Way to Store Your Hair Flowers

I like to make my own hair flowers to match my outfits, so I have oodles of them. It ends up taking a lot of time to rummage through boxes of them looking for the pairs. So I went to the fabric store and bought nylon netting. My husband actually found a remnant for 70 cents! I hung a 2 foot by 3 foot rectangle of it on the wall in my bedroom. I clipped all the flowers right on! No more rummaging and I can see them all clearly! The netting allows the clips to go right through and attach easily. Best. Idea. Evar.

 Yep, the material is the same as my last project. I can safely say that I have two one of a kind dresses for a total of $40 handmade! I only have a few scraps of this left. The first dress is 40s era. This second dress is 50s era. If you watched my last video on my youtube channel, this is the pattern that I showed you how I adapted the collar. This Advance Pattern has a beautiful double collar. It's just the cutest. Well...it's at least a CUTE pain in my ass to sew. LOL  The skirt portion is my sloper.
